Well done, Trisha - another detective trying to find the marshmallow thief has come up with an interesting explanation!

Marshmallow Case
In Gulf Harbour School there’s been a missing marshmallow crisis that has gone wild! I believe Mrs Southgate, Ritchie, or Mrs Steel is one of the thieves! And I have proof.

First of all I believe Mrs Southgate the deputy principal is surely guilty of stealing the principal Mrs Crosbie’s marshmallows. Once, she was tip toeing around the school, and when people asked her what she was doing, she ran away leaving a suspicious clue. Also after she left one of the classrooms, there was a suspicious cut of marshmallow packet. She even has access to every single room in the school! Therefore, she might have used those keys to open up Mrs Crosbies office and took her marshmallow because she was walking to the office very oddly. Now there’s proof right  there but, there still is 2 more sneaky suspects…

Suspect number 2, Ritchy the caretaker of the school. He after school  and goes around fixing and cleaning things. He might have sneakily used his keys to to unlock Mrs Crosbies office and took her stash of marshmallows because I saw him in the office alone just a few days ago! Also, nobody really sees him much in his shed, which means he must be stealing some marshmallows because he always gets called in the office! This explains the size of the hand print on the library walls! The time that the handprint mystery happened, Ritchie passed by with some weird white powder on his hand. That is suspicious.

Last but not least Mrs Steel the little kids teacher and leader. She always comes in and out of her classroom everyday like usual, but one day outside her classroom door was a white marshmallow! I asked her and she didn't say anything which made me curious. Also she has marshmallows in her office that gets me strangely even more curious. Last piece of evidence, she has a little secret office all to herself, and one time I was sent to put something away in her office and when I came in, I saw a packet of marshmallows!

There you go. By concluding this letter I am telling everyone to keep an eye on these suspects, and if there’s anything suspicious, then that may be the one. However, only one of them is the evil marshmallow stealer.

Milan Du Preez is looking into the very suspicious disappearance of some marshmallow from Mrs Crosbie's office - great explanation, Milan!

Who stole the Marshmallows?

Who do you think stole the marshmallows? I will be talking about who I think stole the marshmallows.

Firstly I think Mrs Southgate because Detective Kookaburra found a footprint that's pretty small ( she has the smallest feet out of the five suspects). The second example is that when Ella and Grace went on Road Patrol Southgate didn't turn up, so Ella went to the office and they saw Southgate in Mrs Crosbie’s office!! The third example is that she has access everywhere! Therefore she could sneak into Crosbies office and take the marshmallows!

Secondly, I think Mr Hanwell took the marshmallows because on the wanted poster it said that he makes sugar free candy and we got some evidence and we tested it with Iodine and there was sugar and cornstarch  in the evidence bag and he was the only one who uses the two. Another reason is that he always goes to the office so consequently he could steal the marshmallows whenever he goes to the office! Here is another reason why Hanwell stole the marshmallows. He is always sneaking around corners therefore he could be hiding from Kookaburra. Despite his sneakynes we can see him!

Thirdly I think Richie took the marshmallows because he has access everywhere as a result of this, he could steal the squishy things from out of Crosbie’s office. The second example is that I saw Richie allow in Crosbie’s office even though the marshmallows have already been taken he could be looking for more marshmallows to steal! The third example is that Richie is the only one that can enter his shed therefore it would be the best place to hide the boxes of marshmallows and no one could get them because it's in his shed!

The marshmallow thief is on the loose but with these three key suspects it won't take long to find the marshmallow thief!
