The students have a great understanding of the legends of Maui. They came up with impressive artistic interpretations of the stories and I enjoyed their summaries of their content. I agree with Wynn, these stories are about New Zealand.
ReplyDeleteI loved Peter Gossage's stories about Maui when I was at school. He told the tales so well and his beautiful artwork is unique. Well done Room 12 for carrying on the tradition of great story telling too.
