We spent a lot of time working on sentence structure and great vocabulary choices in our year 3 and 4 ESOL groups - the writing is coming along beautifully because of it :)

I said, "Pass it to me!" I saw the water balloon coming towards me. I caught it, but it slipped out of my hands. Whe it hit the ground, it popped. All the water came on me! But who cares? The game was fun.

I grabbed another water balloon and I said, Who wants another turn?"

Two weeks ago we played catch the water balloon and it was super fun! We caught all the balloons, but sometimes they popped. it sloshed on me, but it was funny. Jota aimed at my face, but it missed me.

We were playing with water balloons. He passed it to me. It gushed, because it popped. A flood came out. Are you wet? I am so wet.

In the beginning of the term we played with water balloons. We played water balloons outside with the ESOL group. The water balloons were very slippery. I couldn't catch them all, because they were slippery.

First Mrs Goodall explained that we needed to take turns. Then the wet balloons burst in my hand. But the balloon sploshed in my hand. So I threw it to someone else. I was so excited! It was really fun.

The balloon was very shiny. I was so excited. The game was fun. The water spurted and it was fun, but something happened and it popped.

On Tuesday my ESOL group played with water bombs. We played outside the ESOL class. We played it, so we can do a recount. But it was so fun, because we were throwing them, but some of them were popping. Splash! Splosh! Whoosh!

On Tuesday my ESOL room played with water bombs. The big water bomb popped really early, but the little water bombs didn't pop. I couldn't really catch them. It was really slippery, that's why I couldn't catch them, but I didn't get wet.

We were at school playing with very colourful water bombs. They were shiny, because there was water in it. We were playing catch with water balloons, but the water balloons were slippery and slidy.

It was exciting and fun. When we were finishing, we still had a few of them, so we were squirting them into the soggy bucket.

Before the game started Mrs Goodall explained the rules. We needed to take turns. The slippery, colourful balloon was flying to me, but it missed me. I was nervous, because I didn't want to get wet. Later in the game I caught a water balloon.

I'm all wet!!! Urrgh!!! Stop throwing the water balloons at me! Mrs Goodall is going to let us write about this and I hate writing, because we always run out of time.

The water balloons are colourful and shiny - URGH! Didn't I say, "Stop throwing, the, water, balloons, at, me!!!!!

We were playing water balloons outside, beside the ESOL room.

Stomp! Splash! Squeeze!! Well, (sorry, readers - this is when Grace ran out of time, my aplogies, Mrs Goodall)
