Feel with Michelle and Noa who wrote about their family holidays in their ESOL lesson

It was a beautiful summer’s day, I was sitting in the back of my Auntie’s car on my way to a charming villa in Israel.

Next I excitedly got out of the car and launched to see where our villa was and what kind of house we had.

The first thing we did was to plunge into the cold water of the pool. It didn’t take very long and we were freezing in the water. We were as cold as in Antarctica so we sprang out of the pool and got changed.

Then an idea popped into my head, “Wouldn’t it be nice to go to the hot tub?” I questioned dad. “Of course that would be a great idea”, my dad responded.

At the end of the day my dad and me were sitting in the blistering hot tube.

That was the best holiday of my life in Israel because I met all my family and could finally feel the heat of love cuddling around me.

Two years ago, during the school holiday my grandparents took me, and my family to a holiday resort in the greenly covered mountains called Drakens Berge.  There were 2 pools, 1hot and 1cold, a trampoline, a restaurant, horse riding, a shop, houses (for the resort), a beautifull waterfall, a pingpong table and much more!

First we drove around looking for our house, it felt like ages, but we finally found it. “ It’s rather small”, I thought. There were 3 bedrooms the first one had 2 single sized beds. My, aunt and uncle slept there and my cousin in his crib. The second one had a queen sized bed, my grandparents slept there. Then the last bedroom had 1 single sized bed which my sister slept in so I had to sleep on the couch. Next we unpacked our bags. Shortly after we decided to go for a dip.

It didn’t take very long and we were in the hottub getting our steam on. The water was “BOILING.” Then I discovered a massive rock at the end of the pool I swam to it and found it was like a big cave, it was very gloomy!!!

At the end of the day when I went to bed (which was a narrow couch) I lied down looking back at the amazing day wondering what the other 6 days were going to be like!
